This month's Ocracoke Newsletter is the dramatic story of life-saver Rasmus Midgett and his rescue of the crew of the barkentine Priscilla in August, 1899. You can read it here: http://www.villagecraftsmen.com/news052116.htm.

Hmm Just add a few extra zeros and the $300 a month becomes $3,000 a week for some places now a days and that is because extra large groups/families/friends split the cost and accept outrageous rates thus skewing the customer entertainment needs. IE more beer vs more ice cream. LOL
