There are several ...Reminds me of the Florida Keys. There are several state parks down there . As a child of a tent camping family, it reminds me of deliberately subjecting yourself to a lack of comfort. I for one , recall fondly the time spent lugging my necessities to the bathhouse, helping to set up the tent, and running off to explore the campground alone . I had unfettered access to the outdoors to explore , to suffer bee stings, mosquito bites, encounters with geese and squirrels after your bag of peanuts. This was before smart phones, it was before personal computers, it was before Atari, it was before touch tone phones, it was when I heard the news on a transistor radio that Judy Garland had passed away.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
