Always amazing to hear how wildlife survives such strong storms. NC Mainlander had to chuckle when reading about the stallion who took the opportunity to "mingle" with the females while the fences were down. Perhaps there will be a pony named "Arthur" among the Ocracoke herd!!! Also, wonderful to read how the NPS helps each other after storms leave damage behind.
