My cousin says coating her feet w/ Vicks and then putting on socks before going to bed was one of the best ways to use it. She could tell a difference every morning.

Also, her Mom (my late aunt) had a chonic lung condition and every time she had a "flare up", Aunt Libb would swallow a spoonful of Vicks. Of course, this use of the product isn't recommended by the manufacturer, but I'm just passing the memory along.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6559692.post-57700581232794559082011-01-18T15:28:05.292-05:002011-01-18T15:28:05.292-05:00I've recently learned of a new remedy for clea...I've recently learned of a new remedy for clearing out the sinuses. It's called an neti pot and can be found in most drug stores. My friend swears by it. Also, heard that LouAnne's Vicks works well if you rub it on the bottom of your feet before putting on your nice "SmartWool" socks! Get better soon, Philip!
Marcy DesulisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6559692.post-71071298017410064242011-01-18T13:24:12.725-05:002011-01-18T13:24:12.725-05:00Here in the Midwest we also use Vicks as an old ti...Here in the Midwest we also use Vicks as an old timey remedy. Just rub it on your chest and cover with a warm towel (from the top of the woodstove, of course.) Take care, hope you feel better soon.
Some folks think wearing garlic around your neck is great too, but that might be for warding off evil spirits, hmmm..Lou Ann Homanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10975972696054637393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6559692.post-4972218293709269932011-01-18T08:24:07.660-05:002011-01-18T08:24:07.660-05:00Get Well wishes from an East TN Ding Batter (and A...Get Well wishes from an East TN Ding Batter (and ASU grad, Amy)!!
