Next Tuesday...

...or maybe sooner. That's what the NC Department of Transportation is reporting about re-opening NC Highway 12. The road should be open no later than Tuesday, October 11. You can read more here:

    Exciting news....praying and hoping! I know it has been a long haul waiting for hwy #12 to reopen after Irene came to call.

    This NC mainlander still hopes to have her toes squishing in Ocracoke Island sand in a few weeks.....
