Passion

In spite of the poor soil in my front yard (it was filled with dredge spoil when the Navy dredged the harbor during WWII) a passion vine winds around my porch railing and sprouts wildly exotic flowers throughout the summer.

They are a wonder to behold, although they can sometimes be difficult to see, hiding among the leaves.
