Here I am in Indiana, watching snow flurries, and I learn that folks back home at Ocracoke are expecting 1-4 inches of the white stuff this evening. A couple of days ago high winds drove water over the highway, and shut down the ferries. It looks like the entire east coast is feeling the effects of this crazy February weather!
Many of you know Lou Ann who spends her summers on Ocracoke. She has fallen in love with the island in large part because of the sense of community and the many friends she has made here. Lou Ann also lives in a small town, and has created a blog where she celebrates life in small town America. You may enjoy reading her blog as well.
