We hope all of our readers had a safe and happy Independence Day. There was so much going on here yesterday on Ocracoke Island. Following are a few photos (I'm sorry, but I don't have pictures of the sand sculptures, the classic cars, most of the parade floats, etc., but I hope you enjoy these).     Would Lou Ann be willing to sell me her left over ABC Store? I figure with a 4 ft x 4 ft piece of land and that shack we could finally become local residents.
