The third annual OcraFolk School is almost upon us. The dates are October 25 - 30, the last week of the month. There are still a couple of spaces available in the Ocracoke Sampler class...an opportunity to immerse yourself in a bit of island history, sail aboard the schooner Windfall (and participate in old-time seafaring traditions), kayak on Pamlico Sound (and maybe even gather enough clams for a meal), and walk across the island from ocean to sound, leaning about the unique ecology of this very special barrier island.
