This week starts with several community events of interest to both residents and visitors:
-- Monday, April 15 at 2 p.m.: Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Fire Hall at the
soon-to-be construction site on Hwy 12.
-- Tuesday, April 16, from 6-8 p.m.: Community Park Information Open House at the Community
Center. Exciting news about plans for the new Ocracoke Community Park and
ball field.
-- Wednesday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m.: Sea, Sand, and Human Hands, the Changing Face of the Outer Banks at NCCAT.
-- Wednesday, April 17 at 1 p.m.: Exploring the Kindergarten of the Fisheries at NCCAT
