We've had warm, spring like weather these last few weeks. It's hard to believe it's the middle of December. It's been lovely for beach walks, however the mosquitoes have been enjoying the weather too. Normally we have none of the pesky insects this time of year, but recently they have been swarming around the doors at dusk.
Here's also wishing our guest blogger, Bill a very happy birthday today.

ReplyDeleteThis NC Mainlander started the day with bright sunshine and a 27 degrees frost. By 2, it was 60 degrees,,,,not bad at all!
Heard on TV the ferry service schedule will be adjusted during the Christmas/New Year's holidays in an effort to save $$. Getting ready to check out the NC ferry service web-site for confirmation. Any news on your end about it?
Bill--Wishing you every happiness on your special day-- may your friends always outnumber your birthday candles.
ReplyDeleteThe entire schedule is on Facebook under Ocracoke.
ReplyDeleteThe abbreviated schedules are all posted on the NCDOT web site: https://apps.dot.state.nc.us/pio/releases/details.aspx?r=5823
