Photo Shoot

Molasses Creek was hard at work this weekend posing for photos. They are starting a national promotion of themselves and needed some new photos to help convey the energy of the band and the place they come from. They had beautiful (but chilly) weather to work in. Keep your eyes out for these fresh new images of the band that brings a little bit of Ocracoke to wherever they play.

Just think though, they had to use porta-potties after leaving that section of the beach instead of public restrooms. Somehow they still managed to get these great photos.

    Where's Kitty?

  7. Kitty has not been an official member of the band for more than a year. She decided she wanted to spend more time on her art. She has had exhibits at local galleries, and she has some of her paintings displayed at Deepwater Theater. Once in a while she will join in with Molasses Creek.

Marcy and Lou are now a regular part of the band, and Gerald joins them on most off-island gigs.
