Philip- I have absolutely nothing concrete to go on here, but as I was bored I was looking around about this on-line. It appears Mo Rocca who did the story is normally on CBS Sunday Morning. Not sure if this means there was a miscommunication about the date.
ReplyDeleteThat's about all I have to go on, but it made me wonder if it may show up out of nowhere on Sunday.
Matt, I heard (from the same source that I heard about this morning's show) that the Ocracoke segment would also air next Sunday, May 27. I will post any new information as I hear it.
ReplyDeleteCBS Sunday Morning is advertising that there will be features about islands this Sunday.
ReplyDeleteocracoke coffee is saying this "For those who "missed" the segment on Ocracoke on CBS Morning News...fear not, you didn't miss it...thanks to Matthew for digging around and finding out, "Based on CBS promos it looks like the Ocracoke part may be on Sunday Morning as part of "Ports of Call" featuring island getaways!" Whew!"

Maybe the Ocracoke segment will air on Sunday May 20, not May 27.

ReplyDeleteThe Ocracoke segment did not make Sunday's CBS Sunday Morning show. However, I heard a rumor that the segment might air on Monday morning, May 21.
