Several years ago I was a parent chaperone on the elem. school safety patrol trip to Washington DC as a resident of AMERICA I feel blessed to have visited out nation's Capitol. As we exited the bus a few adults burst into song singing the marine Corps Hymn to visit the memorial in Arlington Va . I will cherish the time I sent in Washington DC every monument is a memorial. to the tomb of the unknown soldier, to the changing of the guard to the Capitol steps , service to our country every where you turn taxpayer dollars spent by our Congress to HONOR service above self if more folks thought of signing up be it to begin boot camp or be a junior congressional rep as SERVICE above Self What a wonderful world
It's like having an Ocracoke native in your pocket!
