Yellow Flowers

I am not much of a gardener (really, I'm not), but I do have a few pretty flowers in my yard. This hardy plant with yellow flowers graces my property every summer. I think it may be coreopsis, but I'm not sure. Maybe our readers can enlighten me.

This month's Ocracoke Newsletter is a photo gallery of past July 4th parade photos. You can read it here: http://www.villagecraftsmen.com/news062113.htm.

Leaves not right for a coreopsis - it is indeed in the sunflower family - Heliopsis.
