Wild Surf

Islanders woke up this morning to a warm breeze. Actually more than a breeze. It has been very windy today. The beach was powerful. Six or seven rows of wild, angry breakers were charging in and crashing onto the beach. The strong winds were coming from the southwest and blowing beautiful plumes of spray back off the tops of the waves. The early afternoon sun would occasionally catch the spray and transform it into a delicate veil of rainbow-hued mist. All the colors were there....red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.

This is a remarkable and wonderful world.
