I used to tolerate and enjoy cold weather more than the steamy sweltering heat of the summer. I used to enjoy the snow. I used to embrace the festive atmosphere of digging out of a deep one.
Philip, How much snow did you get? Do you have your snow shovel ready for the upcoming snow storm? We are supposed to get between 6 and 8 inches here. Sure will be glad when spring comes.
Juanita, Ocracoke got about 5 inches of snow. Like you, we are all looking forward to spring, even though some snow on the island is always reason to have some fun.
Unreal to see so much snow on Ocracoke for the second time this season. If I was there, it would require a good deal of time at Zillies in weather like this. Now here in Cleveland we have had over 60 inches of snow and many sub zero nights and mornings, far exceeding seasonal averages.
It's like having an Ocracoke native in your pocket!
