Ocracoke Newsletter
I recently published another monthly Ocracoke Newsletter, this time about "Ocracats" our village organization that helps care for, feed, and neuter feral cats on the island. There is a need at this time for help in addressing the cat population explosion. You can read more here: http://www.villagecraftsmen.com/news031710.htm.

Thank you, again, for highlighting the desperate cat population crisis on Ocracoke Island. When I visited last fall, I saw sweet cats everywhere I went: from the post office, to various shops and roaming near the Community store.
ReplyDeleteI took the liberty of forwarding your article to my vet in Roxboro, NC. I hope this vet can help in some way and if nothing else, she can pass along this info to other vets.
I'm sending a donation to Ocracats and I challenge others to do the same. Any amount, I'm sure, will be most appreciated. If everyone who loves Ocracoke makes a donation: big or small, then the cats will be saved!
I also forwarded the body of this article to our local vet school and I meet your challenge with a donation! Love cats and Ocracoke!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thank you, Julie!!! I hope others will follow suit!
