Mr. Howard,
ReplyDeleteJust a note about your "marketing" on your blog/journal: I think you do a GREAT job of updating and educating us on the lifestyle and history of Ocracoke. Your writing is excellent. I am also impressed that you don't use the blog as a huge advertisement. Your occasional mention of sales or new items is pleasant and not pushy. I believe your readers appreciate the fact that you have a business and need to make sales, but you don't use your blog as a huge advertisement with a touch of journal writing. I for one appreciate that. Keep up the good work. I know we, along with most of your readers, will patronize your business whenever possible.
I truly consider you to be Ocracoke's good will ambassador to the world!
God Bless!
Hey, Philip, it's not everyday that someone calls you "Mr. Howard," huh?
ReplyDeleteBless your heart.
Placed an order yesterday for an ocracoke print. My favorite one.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...maybe I'll take a look.
ReplyDeleteFellow bloggers, this Person county NC mainlander would much rather shop "in person" @ VC, but since I can't be there most of the time, I have to brag on not only the selection VC has to offer, but Jude and staff all do a great job packing even fragile items. You don't have to pay by credit card. They take checks, too. Just wonderful, old-fashioned customer service. And, if they are out-of-stock, they will do whatever it takes to find that item and get it shipped.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's enough said, but you get the idea.
It warms my heart so much to know life is slowly returning to normal on Ocracoke Island again. I couldn't be happier for you, but I do so wish I was there to join in the fun!
Oh, I forgot to mention the free shipping over $25 is a GREAT DEAL! I hope it will be extended, Philip. Helps soooo much!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the store...I ordered an item last week (a beautiful Ocracoke lighthouse pendant) and I expected for delivery to be delayed due to all the issues relate to Irene, so imagine my surprise when it arrived 2 days later! UPS is live an well!! lol Thanks VC!
