It sits at the end of a dead end road right on the edge of the Pamlico Sound shore.

we always stay at the Sand Dollar - either in a room or a cottage. this time we have the suite, which seems to be more like a small cottage attached to the motel. the kids love the pool ;) We love the service and atmosphere (no frills, comfy, and CLEAN!).
