ReplyDeleteBecause it gives welcome relief from the ills of modern life in places unlike Ocracoke, where one has to deal with TEDIOUS PEOPLE WHO COMPLETELY LACK A SENSE OF HUMOR, among other things.
Clem -- I learned who wrote "Why do you even bother reading this blog?". It was a knee-jerk reaction...before she realized your comment was a joke. She really does love Ocracoke (as you do), and she really does have a sense of humor.
