Beautiful beach

Bill Jones, my dad (Philip) and myself went for a brief walk on the beach yesterday. It was beautiful weather and a calm ocean, but no dolphins were in sight. Shortly after the walk my dad was hit hard by the chest cold he has been fighting off, so he's out of commission for a while. Hopefully he can try whiskey and honey and a good amount of rest a recover quickly. Postings on this blog may be sporadic until he's back up and running.

    Thanks, Amy, for the update.

Sorry Philip is fighting a tough cold. Hope it won't become bronchitis.

I know he's graciously researching my request for remedies which the hardy Ocracoke folks have used throughout the centuries. I guess he's putting "his whole self" into his research!

Hope and pray he'll feel better soon. Whiskey and honey might soothe his condition!

Please keep us posted on how your Dad feels.

That was so thoughtful of you to let us all know what's going on with your dad, Amy. Will miss him, but I sincerely hope he will take all the time he needs to get well and STAY WELL.

something is definitely going around. a coworker was in hospital , stories of bronchial infections all which have required medical treatment. soo this time of year a cold should not be taken lightly. a speedier recovery no doubt is possible under a drs care and the tracking of bugs is thus possible and adds to the body of medical knowledge
