Photo Problems?

If you can't see all of the photos on the two previous posts, try clicking on them anyway. At least on my computer some of the photos don't always show up, but they're really there!

Loving the pictures? When's the last time you had more than 4 inches of snow at one time? I'm assuming it doesn't happen often.

  4. I just discovered your blog while "googling" snow in Ocracoke. Love your pictures.

My husband and I used to come to Ocracoke from Richmond, VA 3 or 4 times a year. We've lived in Tarpon Springs, Florida for the past 18 years so have only gotten there twice in that time. We love it there. But, living two blocks from the Gulf, we don;t have to go far to look at our beloved water.

Glad to find your blog. I'll be back often. Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing more photos of Ocracoke in the snow! It's such a magical place on any day of the year and now, the island is covered with snow! I bet Portsmouth Village is breathtaking, too.

    What a rare treat!

Ocracoke was mentioned on the Durham and Raleigh TV stations more yesterday than I've heard since a hurricane! Thankful this time around, it's a more peaceful time on the island!

this is just not right ! we are in Connecticut and are freezing with about 2 feet on snow on the ground. Ocracoke is suppose to be warm and sunny. Enjoy your snow, if you need more I can have some sent from here.

  8. The last time we had this much snow was in 2003. Here's a link to see a few photos of that storm: http://www.villagecraftsmen.com/news012303.htm
