Thanks so much for the updates and the pictures. Does anyone know how deep the storm surge is on Cutting Sage heading out toward Oyster Creek? We have a house on that street. If there's a 7' storm surge on the sound side it's going to be deep there. Yikes. Those of you on the island, please stay safe.

Carol, Where is your house? We recently bought 50 Cutting Sage, the orangey yellow house. I have been wondering how the water is in that area also.

At least most people seem to still have power!

Interesting that when these pictures were being taken at 3:15pm, I was enjoying the great sounds of Molasses Creek in concert in Davidson, NC. Fiddler Dave Tweedie mentioned they were on the Ocracoke Evacuation Tour. Definite prayers for all on Ocracoke.

Debbie - We are 60 Cuttiing Sage - Xenia House. I believe we're your next door neighbors! Were you there looking at the house around Labor Day week? We noticed a couple who came back several times and seemed to be serious potential buyers. Email me at carol7353@aol.com for less public conversation!
