The fact that you were able to post this is wonderful. I hope the balance of the storm is as uneventful as possible. Been watching the radar and thinking good thoughts for you. It seems that it may weaken before it gets to PA, and that's great, as we've had the rainiest month ever BEFORE Irene comes. Be safe, Joyce Moore

Philip Stay safe I hope you are taking Irene serious.Hope you made the right choice Just heard on ABC news they have taken body bags to Hatteras.

It seems it might get down to Category 1 by the time it gets to you ...or maybe I am just wishful thinking. Hope that might be true.

Philip, we're praying for all of you on Ocracoke. Matt and Michelle and Sawyer went to Beaufort to stay with Janette and Ben, but Irene is headed right there. We appreciate your blogs, keeping us updated on our beloved Ocracoke. Be safe!
